ABOUT REACHING OUT
Mission Statement
To boldly claim South Africa for Christ, one city at a time. We want to proclaim His name loud and clear, without shame and with victory being our war-cry. There is more to life and His name is Jesus Christ.
Vision
Matthew 28: 19 & 20 - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
To have Reaching Out become a household name. We want to show South Africa the love and care of Christ.
Motto
Proclaiming the Name of Jesus Christ to the Nation
To their credit, there are many organizations operating in South Africa which are dedicated to the nurturing, education and feeding of the less fortunate.
While providing food and other needed items to the poor will be a part of the agenda, Reaching Out's main purpose is to spread the gospel and minister to the lost.
This is done through the delivering of message tracts which are delivered with numerous newspapers and through various outreaches. So many people are hungry for God and either don't realize that He is what is missing from their lives, or they could be "Church shy" and require some encouragement to seek Him out.
For far too long Christians have been quiet, almost shy, in their approach to ministering to the lost. For those of us who have a relationship with God and know His Word, the responsibility is ours to use our voices to speak to those who need to hear.
Reaching Out is God's voice for South Africa.
